Is wood safe around a flame? +
Yes. The pearls melt at a low temperature and the flame sits well clear of the wood. Keep the wick trimmed to about a centimetre, as you would in any vessel.
Will each one look like the photo? +
Close, but not identical. Each bowl is carved by hand, so the grain and the depth of colour vary. That is the point of it.
How do I clean it? +
Let the wax cool, lift it out in one piece and wipe the bowl with a dry cloth. No water, no soap.
